O So Good has several events coming up.
Next week Wednesday, there will be dinner for you and a valentine with wine. There are still some open seats, but not too many. Price is $70 per couple, $40 for single. Dinner is a Fried Green Tomato salad, Grilled Cajun Tilapia, and Key-lime Pie for Dessert. There will also be live Jazz by Dan & Dan.
Coming up next month on March 9, they will be hosting their fifth Comedy Dinner.
“These dinners are a lot of fun for us,” said chief chef and proprietor Omar Thornton. “It’s a lot of fun hosting comedians and it’s a big draw to get folks to come up to Garretson.”
On March 9 the featured comics will be Eric Brown, Sarah Bursich and Emcee Dan Bublitz Jr.
Headliner Eric Brown is a comedian from St Louis, MO. His material is typically auto- biographical with an abstract thread. He talks about being a father, husband and his efforts to always do the right thing. He can best be described as "worried but trying."
Featured Comedian is Sarah Bursich. Bursich utilizes years of performance experience to bring life to everyday situations with her comedic story-telling. Casual and a little uncomfortable, she covers everything from child- hood pets to the impending doom of a quarter-life crisis. She currently resides in St. Louis, MO with her husband and arthritic dog, Daisy.
Emcee Dan Bublitz Jr. is an American comedian/actor. He taped his first television appearance for the show "Laughs" on Fox. He's appeared on Comedy Time TV and in several short films. In 2011 Dan was invited to per- form at the Laugh Track Comedy Festival in Denver, CO and in 2013 he was invited to perform at the Ventura Comedy Festival in Ventura, CA. He has hosted the San Diego Comedy Festival since 2014 and is a producer of the Sioux Falls Sno Jam Comedy Festival. Dan won the 2011 "On The Rocks Comedy Contest" and he was a finalist in the 2012 "Rockstar Comedy Throwdown".
The Three Course Meal will Green Salad with Fried Prosciutto and topped with a yogurt dressing, Lamb Loin Chops, with Garlic/Herb Rice, Mixed Veggies and all topped with micro greens. For dessert, Mississippi Mud Pie.
Doors open at 5pm for Happy Hour, Dinner starts at 6:15pm and show starts at 7:15pm. Cost is $65.00 a couple, $40.00 Single or $20.00 single, for the show only.
