Unofficial Opt-Out Election Results

Results were called into the Gazette office at 8:00 p.m. this evening, one hour after polls closed.

In total, 357 eligible voters cast their vote.

Those voting in favor of the opt-out: 179

Those voting against the opt-out: 178

Garretson School Business Manager Jacob Schweitzer informed the Gazette the ballots were counted four times to ensure accuracy. More coverage will be released in the May 20 issue of the Gazette.
