Garretson, SD, USA January 21, 2021 - One of the largest and longest running car talk shows in the country is making another big step!

After a nearly one-year long project, the first official LIVE call-in show and video streaming took place from the all-new Nordstrom’s 2.0 Studio. This expansive project features all new state of the art equipment throughout, including HD streaming video with an automatic switching system.

The show is also broadcast live in its home market on KELO AM 1320/107.9 FM in Sioux Falls, SD. The syndicated version of the radio show airs on over 240 stations nationwide. The podcast version downloads twice weekly on all your favorite podcast platforms. This will all happen from this new epicenter of automotive broadcasting.

The new studio is an exciting step for the show, and the 30-plus year running show is poised for further growth in 2021 and beyond! The “Motor Medics” at the Under the Hood Show, and their producer Prairie House Productions, are very thankful to all the loyal “Hoodies” that enjoy the show, making this happen. The team is also thankful for the sponsors, vendors and industry friends that have helped and advised them to get to this point!

“This is a big milestone for us, and we’re very happy,” said Shannon Nordstrom on a phone interview with the Gazette on Friday, Jan. 22. “Russ, Chris and I have been doing this show for a while now, and we’ve got the best fans on the air. We love them, and we love doing the show, so this just adds another dimension to what we’ ll be doing every week. Lots of stuff could have gone wrong, but none of it did. Instead, everything went great! Broadcast went off without a hitch! We have some fine tuning to do, a bit more interior decorating, but we have things working well.”

“My partner Russ Evans has countless hours of engineering and sweat equity, to make this dream become reality! Thank you, Hoodies, and thank you to our partners and industry friends!”
