Before the ride, the Lunch Shack (who you’ll usually find on weekdays in Corson) will be serving food during registration.
“He came last year and was very popular,” said Danielle Grohs.
“We also want to give a shout out to the Garretson Fire Department, who lead this run with their firetrucks,” said Trevor Grohs.
“Pastor Steve Moberg of Zion Lutheran Church also opens the run with a Prayer and a blessing before the ride,” said Danielle Grohs.
The poker run has cash prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place hands, and it’s $20 per hand to play. There will be prizes given out at every stop. When the riders return there is a pork loin dinner provided, with a free will donation requested. There are also several raffles available, both for prizes such as a GOPRO Hero 5, a grill, air fryer and half a hog with processing, as well as a 50/50 cash raffle. Starting that morning and until they’re gone there will be the 2019 Team Tayden t-shirts and hoodies for sale as well as other swag. This year they will also have Janine Kentfield doing photography and Justin Sanders of Sanders Media as a videographer.
“And when you ride by the cemetery where Tayden is at rest, make sure you Honk for Tayden, there will be a sign posted,” said Danielle.
