O So Good on TV, again!

Date:

In more positive news, Omar Thornton and O So Good were yet again featured on local television! On Monday, Feb. 1, 2021 during the 10 p.m. nightly news broadcast on KELO News, a story titled, "“O” So Good, oh so popular" was their Eye on KELOLAND feature story.

“The small-town restaurant has been drawing the praise of locals since day one, but its popularity hit new heights after its appearance on a National TV Show,” said Don Jorgensen of KELO News as he and his Co-Anchor Bridget Bennett introduced the story by Travis Fossing.

The story featured interviews with Thornton of course, and interviews with Tamie Nordstrom, Garretson Mayor Greg Beaner and O So Good employee Colby Bottelberghe, who has gone from serving and washing dishes to Sous Chef under Omar’s tutelage. Featuring everything from the restaurant’s origins to the charitable work they do, it was an excellent story. If you missed the broadcast, you can watch it online by going to https://www.keloland.com/news/eye-on-keloland/eye-on-keloland-o-so-good-oh-so-popular/ .

The Gazette has had multiple stories about Thornton and O So Good recently, but it’s rewarding to see him receive attention from other local news sources and some national attention as well! It’s well deserved!
