Oliviyah Thornton attended the State Trooper Academy last week, sponsored by the American Legion, only the second Garretson-area student to be accepted into the program since it began ten years ago. The City Council approved the installation of sidewalks from Main to Railroad along Dows St, the pool will have its annual fundraising Auction Aug 4 and Frontline Crop Solutions will be holding its Open House on August 6, plus more!

As a final piece of news, the Gazette will not be publishing an issue next week due to the upcoming move two doors down to 508 N Main. Our next issue will be released on Aug 6, with a story and ad deadline of Monday, August 2.
