Issue #23 Full Version (subscription required)

There has been a lot going on in Garretson in the last few weeks... and there is more to come. The Relay for Life for Brandon/Garretson is happening this Friday starting at 6 p.m. The following week is our Jesse James Days!Ā

This week's issue we did a story on the City's vote to sell the land to Dollar General's developer, a story on Jim Kurtz and his service in Vietnam, The Garretson Scholarship Foundation's upcoming golf tournament and, although we pushed right past our usual deadline to include it, a brief story on the arrest of Garretson school business manager Rod Fischer yesterday. (More details will be forthcoming as it develops.)

Wondering what is happening in the Community for this week? You'll find the Community Events CalendarĀ on page 4 in the on-line or paper version, or if you already have a subscription to the on-line paper, you can download it here! Community Events Calendar 6-9-16
