The Dollar General makes a new offer to buy the land from the city out by Highway 11, the community remembers those who sacrificed all for our freedom, and we profile an active serviceman, Derek Decker, who is currently serving in the Air Force overseas. The City Council will be looking at the proposal to sell the land at their next meeting, which is this coming Monday, June 6. It will be held at City Hall at 6:30 and everyone in the community is welcome.
