Congratulations, 2017 Garretson High School Graduates! We also congratulate Carmyn and Matt Schrank, a local Garretson couple who welcomed their new son in the parking lot of Lewis Drug. This coming Monday is Memorial Day, and the local American Legion will be hosting a program at 7:00 pm at the Dugout (located on Main Ave and 2nd St). The Legion Auxiliary will be gathering at 1:00 pm on Friday, May 26 to distribute poppies, do crafts, and have snacks. The donations for poppies are sent to the Veterans who make the poppies, and are also used by our unit to support our local veterans and post members.

There's a lot going on in our community. Keep up with all of it with the Community Events Calendar on page 4 in the on-line or paper version. With your on-line subscription, you can download it here and have it easy to hand! Community Events Calendar 5-18-17
