Click to read Issue #19 Full Version

Between golf, a Little Library, and the City Council meeting, this issue is packed! But we'd say it's also our cutest issue ever, as we feature the excitement and fun of Story Time at the Garretson Public Library. Megan and Matt Rollag honor the memory of their daughter, Lyla with a Little Library at their home in Brandon. The City opts to raise rates over a three year period to get on the same rate schedule as the state, which allows for better grant funding. The Garretson Volunteer Fire Department is going to have an EMT class beginning on May 15, see page two for more information on registration.

The insurance legals run this month. Says South Dakota Newspaper Association Executive Director Dave Bordewyk, "These public notices are important to ensuring South Dakotans have information about an important segment of the financial industry doing business in our state. Transparency and disclosure are important to South Dakotans and these public notices help fulfill that expectation." Thank you to the SDNA for helping provide that service!

There's a lot going on in our community this coming week. Learn more on the Community Events Calendar on page 4 in the on-line or paper version. With your on-line subscription, you can download it here and have it easy to hand! Community Events Calendar 5-11-17
