Local students express thanks, give turkey recipes

            How do you cook your turkey? In their nicest handwriting, Garretson Elementary third grade students let everyone know how they would cook their turkeys. There is a very wide range of options to choose from, and we at the Gazette hope you enjoy yours! Happy Thanksgiving!

How to cook a turkey:

            First, obviously you get the turkey. Then you heat the oven at 350 degrees F. When it is ready, you put the turkey in the oven and there you go your perfect turkey. and then you invite your friends and famaly and have a good thanksgiveing. - Cope D.

            First, I would look for a turkey and take it home. Next, I would put butter, salt, peper. Spray some lemon and mayo. Then. put it in the oven for 30 min. Last I would invite my family to eat. The end. - Miranda D.L.

Then you put it in the oven for one hour for 500 degrees and then you take the turkey out of the hot oven after that you put pickle juice on it and more seasoning on the turkey and then you eat the turkey.
