First there were repairs and maintenance work on the old contract from Haarsma construction. On Tuesday, June 1st, boring work to install lines for a speaker system downtown. Meanwhile sidewalks, curb and gutter for the Legion and for Essex and Depot and road replacement up to beside Jesse James Country store. Jackhammers are thumping, dozers are moving and work is being done in earnest as we have several fine sunny days at the end of May and beginning of June.
