After the 2-1 weekend for the Big East Conference Tournament where we ended up grabbing 3rd place, we had a whole week off till Saturday the 6th and traveled to Colman-Egan.

It was an exciting game of runs and we led at one point in the 2nd quarter by 10 and led at 8 at halftime.

We held a 1-point lead with a little over 2 minutes left in the game, Logan Bly made a runner to go up by 3, followed by a three the next possession from Lauren Heesch to push the game to 6 points with 1:30 left in the game. After a few fouls that were committed by Colman-Egan and Peyton Hove went 3-5 from the FT line, we won 50-43.
This was a big win for our program, and hope it propels us forward for the home stretch with 5 games left in the season. We play 5 games all against Big East opponents.

We are currently 2-0 in conference play and these final games will determine how we finish in the Big East. We have Beresford on Tuesday night, Flandreau Friday night, McCook Central-Montrose on Saturday (Home), Parker next Tuesday, and Sioux Valley next Thursday which is Senior/Parents Night.

Lizzie Olson had a double-double with 14 points and 15 rebounds. Jaelyn Benson had 10 points and 4 assists. Lily Ranschau had 7 points and Lauren Heesch had 7 rebounds.
