GHS Soccer vs Sioux Falls Christian, will Face Vermillion Homecoming week

Date:

Blue Dragon Soccer faced off with Sioux Falls Christian in Garretson last week Thursday, August 24. Despite playing a strong offense early in the first half, the Dragons watched as the Chargers slipped four balls into the net while keeping the Dragons from sinking one.

While the Chargers did their best to keep the Dragons demoralized, the Dragons rallied in the second half and kept the opponents on their toes. SFC was only able to gather one more point. Unfortunately, the Charger offense was just too strong, and the Dragons were unable to find the back of the net, ending the game 0-5.

This week, the Dragons get a break from competition play, but will be back on the field next Tuesday, Sept 5 as they take on Vermillion in Garretson. Varsity play will begin at 5:00 p.m.
