GHS Soccer kicked off the fall sports season on Friday, Aug. 13. Though we wish we could blame it all on bad luck, our ladies lost to Vermillion 0-3 in the opening game of the season. Vermillion is a very strong team and they came out on the attack. Though our ladies rallied several times and came close to a goal on several occasions, Vermillion’s defense was just too strong. The next day, Saturday, Aug. 14 they traveled to Groton for their next game, which sadly they also lost 0-1. However, it’s just the opening of the season, so we wish them all the best of luck this fall!
