The Garretson School Band is comprised of forty-five students from grades 7-12, under the tutelage of Director Nick Sittig. Sittig is known for choosing songs that get audiences on their feet and students excited about practicing.

The hometown crowd got a taste of their performance during the Homecoming Parade, where they amped up anticipation for the winning game.

They have participated in three competitions so far this year with some great results.

"We got third place in Arlington, first place in Beresford and got Best Drumline, and first place in Luverne," said Sittig. "I am very proud on how the band is performing and how hard they are working."

The band will next travel to Chester on Friday, October 1 and then Volga on Friday, October 8.
