Last week, the Garretson Lady Dragon basketball team headed to Beresford, Canton, and Elkton-Lake Benton to take on the Watchdogs, C-Hawks, and Elks. While the team prevailed against the Watchdogs and ELB 52-47 and 44-36, the C-Hawks got the upper hand and took the win, 38-56.
As of the end of last week, the team was sitting at a win-loss score of 11-7 with two games left in the regular season. They played Parker on Tuesday (results not available at press time) and will be playing in a double header tonight against Sioux Valley. Join the team on the home court as they finish out their regular season at 6:15 p.m.!
The Region 3A tournament will begin next Tuesday, February 21. Since Garretson is one of the top four in seed placement, the game will be held in the Dragons' Lair at 7:00 p.m. The winner of that game will continue on to play Thursday, February 23.
