On Thursday, May 13, the Garretson Track Team competed in the Big East Conference held in Garretson. The tracksters did well, with the girls team ranking 3rd overall and the boys team ranking 5th overall.
"Blue Dragons that earned All-Conference status for finishing first in their respective events were: Cooper Long, Devon Leedy, Dylan Kindt, and Cadyn Ockenga in the 3200m Relay; Makayla Heesch, Kylie Christensen, Tayler Benson, and Jordyn Williams in the 3200m Relay; and Lily Ranschau in the 100m Hurdles," said Coach Jason Bohl.
"Next action will be the Region Track meet to be run in Tri Valley today (Thursday, May 20)," said Coach Bohl. "Thanks for everyone that pulled together to help us run a top notch meet for our conference and community."
After regions, the State tournaments will be held on May 28 and 29 in Spearfish and Rapid City.
