Garretson 16U Grabs Lead in Fifth Inning to Defeat West Central

Garretson 16U defeated West Central 9-7 on Thursday after taking the lead late in the game. The game was tied at seven with Garretson 16U batting in the top of the fifth when Jayse Miller singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

Garretson 16U earned the victory despite allowing West Central to score four runs in the first inning. The offensive onslaught by West Central was led by J Zurpel, B Odegaard, and A Zimmer, all knocking in runs in the inning.

Garretson 16U got things moving in the first inning, when Tayson Swatek singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

Dylan Kindt earned the win for Garretson 16U. The pitcher went three and two-thirds innings, allowing zero runs on one hit and striking out seven.

Zimmer took the loss for West Central. The pitcher went one and two-thirds innings, allowing four runs on four hits and striking out one.

Miller started the game for Garretson 16U. Miller allowed nine hits and seven runs over three and a third innings, striking out five O Heath started the game for West Central. Heath went four innings, allowing five runs on seven hits, striking out six and walking one.

Garretson 16U racked up 12 hits on the day. Swatek, Kindt, Miller, and Carson Clark each racked up multiple hits for Garretson 16U. Miller, Kindt, and Swatek each collected three hits to lead Garretson 16U.

West Central collected ten hits. Zimmer, D Sherad, and D Stromer each managed multiple hits for West Central.

Garretson 16U Grabs Lead in Fourth Inning to Defeat Tea Bolts

Garretson 16U ran off with the lead late in the game in a 12-2 victory over Tea Bolts on Monday. The game was tied at two with Garretson 16U batting in the bottom of the fourth when Drew Pederson drew a walk, scoring one run.

Garretson 16U secured the victory thanks to nine runs in the fourth inning. Garretson 16U big bats were led by Cooper Long, Pederson, Dylan Kindt, Tayson Swatek, Jayse Miller, and Samuel Schleuter, all driving in runs in the frame.

Garretson 16U fired up the offense in the first inning. An error scored one run for Garretson 16U.

Carson Clark earned the win for Garretson 16U. The righthander allowed two hits and two runs over four innings, striking out five. Long threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.

B Wilson took the loss for Tea Bolts. The bulldog lasted three and a third innings, allowing five hits and seven runs while striking out four.

Garretson 16U had nine hits in the game. Kindt, Clark, and Long all collected multiple hits for Garretson 16U. Long, Clark, and Kindt each collected two hits to lead Garretson 16U. Garretson 16U tore up the base paths, as three players stole at least two bases. Kindt led the way with three.

Garretson 14U Loses Lead Early In Defeat

Garretson 14U watched the game slip away early and couldn't recover in a 15-3 loss to Hills Beaver- Creek on Tuesday. Hills Beaver- Creek scored on a single by Cam and a single by Lucas in the first inning.

The Garretson 14U struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing Hills Beaver- Creek, giving up 15 runs.

Hills Beaver- Creek fired up the offense in the first inning. Cam singled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run.

Hills Beaver- Creek scored ten runs in the fifth inning. Hills Beaver- Creek's big inning was driven by walks by Quintire, Beau, #14, Jamin, and Lucas, a single by #24, and a groundout by #14.

Quintire led things off on the pitcher's mound for Hills Beaver- Creek. The ace went four and two-thirds innings, allowing three runs on four hits and striking out six.

Cole Jessen toed the rubber for Garretson 14U. Jessen surrendered five runs on five hits over one and two-thirds innings, striking out five. Treyton Decker, Caleb Westerbur, and Dylan Wolf each contributed in relief for Garretson 14U.

Ian Buettner led Garretson 14U with two hits in three at bats. Garretson 14U was sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Buettner had the most chances in the field with ten. Garretson 14U stole eight bases during the game as three players stole more than one. Westerbur led the way with two.

Hills Beaver- Creek racked up six hits on the day. Cam and Beau all collected multiple hits for Hills Beaver- Creek. Jack led Hills Beaver- Creek with three stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with 19 stolen bases.

Garretson 14U Falls To Tri-Valley After Sixth Inning Score

Garretson 14U stayed in it until the end, but Tri-Valley pulled away late in a 14-9 victory on Friday. The game was tied at nine with Tri-Valley batting in the bottom of the sixth when Landon drew a walk, scoring one run.

Garretson 14U lost despite out-hitting Tri-Valley 11 to five.

Garretson 14U opened up an early lead in the second inning when Cole Schleuter singled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run.

Landon led things off on the pitcher's mound for Tri-Valley. The bulldog lasted six and two-thirds innings, allowing 11 hits and nine runs while striking out ten.

Caleb Westerbur started the game for Garretson 14U. Westerbur surrendered four runs on one hit over two-thirds of an inning, striking out two. Treyton Decker, Cole Jessen, and Riley Lafferty-Mack each contributed in relief for Garretson 14U.

Garretson 14U had 11 hits in the game. Dylan Wolf, Schleuter , and Jessen all had multiple hits for Garretson 14U. Schleuter and Wolf each collected three hits to lead Garretson 14U. Garretson 14U stole 12 bases during the game as three players stole more than one. Schleuter led the way with four.

Denton went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead Tri-Valley in hits. Parker led Tri-Valley with eight stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with 34 stolen bases. Tri-Valley was sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Matthew made the most plays with 11.
