Baltic Runs Away with Early Lead in Victory
Garretson 14U watched the game slip away early and couldn't recover in an 11-0 loss to Baltic on Tuesday, July 6. Baltic took the lead on a groundout in the first inning.

Garretson 14U's effort to come back from down six runs in the fourth inning came up just short, as they fell 13-12 to Parker on Wednesday, July 7. Garretson 14U scored eight runs in the failed comeback on a walk by Dan Hoskins, a walk by Carsten Rozeboom, a walk by Isaac Stoterau, a groundout by Collin Olson, a single by Tyler Erickson, and an error.
Garretson 14U got on the board in the first inning. Garretson 14U scored one run when Noah Schotzko singled.
Parker scored five runs in the third inning. Myles, Lincoln, and Jake all drove in runs in the frame.
Landon was on the pitcher's mound for Parker. The hurler went six and two-thirds innings, allowing 12 runs on seven hits and striking out seven.
Caleb Westerbur was on the mound for Garretson 14U. Westerbur allowed nine hits and eight runs over three innings, striking out two. Treyton Decker and Olson entered the game from the bullpen, throwing two innings and one inning respectively.

Garretson 14U watched the game slip away early and couldn't recover in a 15-4 loss to Baltic on Monday, July 12 in their first post-season game. Baltic scored on a walk by Riley Schultz, a single by Oakley, and a single by Petersen in the first inning.
The Garretson 14U struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing Baltic, giving up 15 runs.
Baltic got things started in the first inning. Schultz drew a walk, scoring one run.
Baltic scored five runs in the second inning. Baltic's big inning was driven by singles by Breece and Schultz, a walk by Ceohring, a groundout by Oakley, and an error on a ball put in play by Rodgers.
Haux got the start for Baltic. The hurler lasted five innings, allowing three hits and four runs while striking out three.
Cole Jessen led things off on the hill for Garretson 14U. The pitcher lasted two-thirds of an inning, allowing two hits and four runs while striking out two. Treyton Decker and Carter Siemonsma entered the game from the bullpen, throwing three innings and one-third of an inning respectively.
Dan Hoskins, Dylan Wolf, and Isaac Stoterau each managed one hit to lead Garretson 14U.
