FFA senior K. Houghton done good at Glean for Good

Date:

Kennedy Houghton, senior at Garretson High School and active with Future Farmers of America, came over to complete her FFA senior project yesterday. In between soap-making steps she checked on our laboring goat, Fiona. She not only correctly diagnosed the first kid as breech, but knew to call her farmer friend, father and a vet for help. By the time Rock Veterinary Clinic arrived, the breech buckling was delivered and all was well. We admire and take pride in the knowledgeable, hard-working young people here in rural South Dakota. Kennedy is a wonderful model! Thanks for your help!
