Community Happenings for January 18, 2023

Date:

Above is the last week of our guessing game of former students of Miss Irene Croston, which we began in our Nov. 2, 2023 issue. Pictured are, top left to right; Ann Williamson, Nancy Vandersnick Olund, and Richard Johnson. Bottom left to right are Marian Henjum, Bob Sanders, and Laurel Hanson. Last week, a slight correction, top right lady was Kay Flanagan Munce.

All good things come to an end, they say, however, though these prepared batches of photos have run their course that doesn’t mean they have to end. These photos were found inside a wall in Ms. Croston’s former home and Oran Sorenson tells the Gazette that there are many more, and if we receive enough positive feedback he’ll prepare new batches to go in to future issues. We told him we’ve already had phone calls, emails and folks stopping in who’ve particularly mentioned they’ve enjoyed it so, if that’s the case, add your voice to theirs and we’ll do more.
