Coming in by the busloads!

O So Good

Omar Thornton and O So Good have been super busy since his TV spot aired. Thornton said last week that he’s seen his business increase by a 300 percent output.

Last Wednesday two tour busses from DeSmet South Dakota came to bring the Senior Citizens group IMPACTED to O So Good in Garretson.

Talking with one of the bus drivers, Doug Kazmarzuck, he said that this has been in the works a lot longer than the Diner’s Drivers and Dives airing, but that the group was very aware of the TV show.

“Our group isn’t because of the Triple D, we booked this day well in advance of the TV show,” he said, “so I guess you could say we knew about this restaurant before it was cool.”

Organizer Marilynn Skyberg said it was because of a local connection with Janice Sage.

“Visiting Janice here this summer I ate here several times and thought it would be a great destination for us, so we booked our trip here back in July,” she said.

Kazmarzuck also mentioned that this year DeSmet will be celebrating the 50th year anniversary of the Laura Ingalls Wilder Pageant, and said that if you’ve been you should come back for this celebration and if you’ve never been, this summer is the year to go!
