CHS Harvest for Hunger gives $10,500 to Garretson Food Pantry

Date:

CHS Country Operations began their annual CHS Harvest for Hunger food campaign in 2011.  CHS in Brandon & Corson (formerly Eastern Farmers Coop and Harvest States) have participated in this campaign since its beginning. The agronomy plant in Garretson is a part of the CHS Brandon business unit.  This unit includes 16 grain facilities, 10 agronomy plants, 17 LP bulk plants and 2 feed mills.  It employs 260 full time and 110 seasonal people.

Every March, CHS employees have collected food, grain and monetary donations.

Last March, a raffle was held to give away a smoker pellet grill, a Smart TV, a Blackstone Griddle, Cenex gas cards and four ½ processed hogs.
