Blue Dragon Academy Progress

Date:

Though the weather outside was frightful, progress on the new daycare is delightful

Despite the snowfall and deep freeze temperatures, construction is hard at work on the new Blue Dragon Academy daycare building.

“We are excited with construction progress,” said Kris Frerk of the Blue Dragon Academy. “They have heat inside so it is a great place for our construction crew to be working now to get out of weather elements. They are working on framing inside walls. Electricians and plumbers will start end of January.”

“We are extremely happy with Cleveringa Construction. A great company to work with. Siding will start going on in about a month or so when weather breaks. We hope maybe completion in May.”

“Children & staff are excited for our new building. We have a new raffle starting next week that is a Mother's Day theme. A great gift for ladies. Tickets available at Treasure Chest, and from Heidi Fink. Prizes are a diamond necklace, $300 gift card to Bridges Bay Resort at Okoboji, $100 Minerva's, $100 gift card to Catori Wellness in Brandon (Jenna Bowar), Pedicure at Visual Images and Wine Gift Basket. Also, we will be having a Fashion Show Dinner Fundraiser in May for women at O's. We will be doing fundraisers for a few years to help pay down our debt. We are a non profit 501 (c) 3 so we will always appreciate financial donations that are tax deductible. We already have children enrolled for the new building. Thanks for the continued support from the community."
