American Legion Auxiliary Minutes for May 2021

The American Legion Auxiliary met April 6 at 8:00.  President, Cheryl, opened the meeting and substitute chaplain, Ethel shared an opening prayer.  Cheryl then led us in the Star Spangled Banner.

Roll call of officers indicated two absent.

The secretary’s report was read, approved and placed on file.

The treasurer’s report was read and placed on file for audit.

Cheryl indicated that membership is at 182 which is one over goal.

It was reported that three cards have been sent this month.

Bingo has not yet been scheduled at Palisade HealthCare.

Ole business included a motion by Liz, seconded by Kathy to send the girls state drivers $50.00.

Cheryl noted that it is now time for us each to sign up for the Legionette.

Some organizing was done for the Memorial Day Program.

State Convention is in Huron on June 24 -27 and we have a full list of delegates.

The meeting was closed with prayer.
