7th Annual Tractor Ride gets early tour of Nordstrom’s new complex

Date:

The 7th Annual Garretson Area Tractor Ride was held on August 10th, 2018 and launched from Kibble Equipment at 8:45 a.m.

“This year we didn’t have any fundraising goals or anything like that, just folks getting together to have some fun and ride around the county. In all we had 28 riders, up one from last year. It was a really big ride, and a really great day!”

The route of the tractor ride took these 28 tractor enthusiasts to Nordstrom’s Auto-Recyclers and their new facility.

“I’m happy and proud to give you guys an early tour of our brand new facility,” said Shannon Nordstrom. “We’re more than 80 percent done with our construction effort, enough so that two weeks ago we moved our central offices into the new building. We’ve got a few small jobs to finish, but it is just finishing work, the building is functional. Imagine the spokes of a wheel, this new building will be our central hub and everything else we do will branch out from it. As always, we’re committed to having a clean, green and sustainable business and this new facility will make it ready for the next generation.”

Nordstrom’s will be having an all day open house event on Sept. 8, 2018. More on this very soon. From Nordstrom’s new location, the tractor convoy went to Baltic, SD and had lunch at the Someday Café in Baltic, made a stop at Bucher Prairie Park and came back to Kibble Equipment John Deere for root beer floats at the end of the trek.
