Veteran's Day is coming up on November 10, and the Henry G Fix Legion #23 will be having a program with a historical theme, focusing on one of the veterans of Garretson who gave their life in service to this country. Four talented singers joined the All-State Choir program that was held this past Saturday, October 28. The Palisades Manor features a rehab success story and the Garretson High School Varsity Football team had a close game for their final challenge. Of note: the Small Business Administration is accepting nominations for outstanding small businesses in South Dakota, and we at the Gazette believe there are several businesses in Garretson that qualify, so make sure you nominate your favorite Garretson business!
